Hey FAMILY!

After Rebecca sent me her NEW Blog, I thought it was a good idea to set one up so i can just have one place to communicate. That way i don't have to answer the same questions over and over again....no offense. AND ---BONUS---- It wont take forever to send pictures to you guys, i can just upload them and it would be a done deal. Of course i will still e-mail and text (HEY MOM) but this way is a little nicer for me and less time consuming-knowing i wont have much extra time i have been told.
So the ride over was long and stuffy. I drove most of the way. I prefer me driving over everyone because i know how my car works and i get the most gas millage out of it. :)
The first night we stayed with PJ's and Gracie's good family friends the Grasdoiancekbf (some name a can't remember...) and they were super sweet. They made us pancakes for food in the morning. And the second night we stayed in some hotel.
Guess how much it cost to drive from Clovis, CA to Lindale, TX...... Just under $85. Ya! I was really surprised. But the further we went the less expensive it was to fill up. In Lindale here its only $1.35 a gallon right now. Really cheap VS CA.
So everyone in Texas is really nice. I mean SUPER nice. People that work at the Gas station--i think really enjoy working there (no offense to anyone). They ALL (i mean EVERYONE) Say 'you'all and are all really happy. Seriously nice.
Well i got here and Gracie gave me a tour of the campus. Its a lot smaller then i thought it would be. Mom--its a lot like the Virginia campus, but not on a hill. Everything is close together and small. However there is a lot of land. BONUS-the pool they have has a really cool water slide. Like the ones at water parks. Super cool in the Summer.
Food is good. Nothing like Mom's or Aunt Patty's but its cafeteria food. Good enough to eat (except for the pudding-nasty stuff)
Everyone here is really young. PJ says that most people some right after High School so I am hoping that my roommates will not have the maturity of kids still in high school. Right now i am sleeping in Gracie's room. Nice girls. But the Bed is horrible. Worse than the floor because only some of it goes down when you sleep on it. My back and neck kills. I bought a mattress pad, but i don't want to take it out because it would take forever to pack and i move rooms soon. I am only with Gracie till only tomorrow. And then i move again to my permanent room next Saturday.
So i think i covered all the basics.....Ill upload some pictures when i take some.
