A few weekends ago, I went to my roommates Michelle’s (core sister) home in the Woodlands with 5 others, to fundraise. We were supposed to do a car wash to fundraise, however it rained the day before. The rain caused the weather to be very cold, so we decided not to do a car wash. We decided to walk door to door and ask people for money (spare change or a couple dollars) to help support us in the HA ministry.

            It rained most of the time we were walking. It was cold the entire time we were walking. The weather was not on our side, HOWEVER God was! (YEA!) He blessed us with about $425 dollars within 4 hours! Divided by 6 people it was about $72 dollars each; still a good profit without putting any money in.

            God blessed me even more then the $72 from the door to door fundraiser. Michelle decided to bless me with her share from the fundraising. And while we were at church on Sunday, Michelle’s mom told me that someone from their church wanted to sponsor me at the HA (anonymously)! How wonderful this is! I was not expecting any financial success this weekend. I am so blessed; I was not expecting to see God’s finical blessings so soon.

            Something I MUST mention about this past weekend is how wonderfully giving Michelle’s family was to me and the others that stayed with them. I am so grateful for how welcoming and loving they were to me. Michelle’s mom was very positive the entire time, driving behind us while we walked for safety, with her up-beat encouraging words, and with the wonderful food she provided for us! Michelle’s family insisted on providing the transportation, food, and our necessities while we stayed (all the way down to toothpaste and the face towels!). I can not express enough how much they truly blessed me that weekend.

            Next ill right about the Un-reached People’s Group LTE. I  was a missionary to Bulang tribe. (FYI: This is all acting by the interns, I am not really going to the Buland Tribe).
